Carillo earns NJAC Swimmer of the Week honors after contributing to the Roadrunners’ fourth-place finish at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. Individually, he registered a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a meet-record and NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 2:05.70. He also touched second in the 100 breaststroke with a team-record and NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 57.07. Carillo also was a member of the Roadrunners’ third-place 400 medley relay and third-place 200 medley relays, which produced respective times of 3:30.03 and 1:36.31. The performances by Carillo in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke currently rank as the best NJAC times in the events this year.
