Furman earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after winning three in- dividual events at the 2014 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet held at TCNJ. She placed first in the discus event in a field of 22 competitors with an ECAC qualfiying mark of 43.63. She also took home a first-place showing in both of the hammer throw and shot put events, with respective ECAC qualfiying marks of 46.65 and 12.25. Furman currently holds the best NJAC marks in the hammer throw, discus, and shot put, while ranking 9th in all of NCAA Division III in the discus event.
