Ramapo College of New Jersey Athletics

Furman earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the TCNJ Lions’ Invitational. She took home a first-place showing in the shot put with ECAC mark and Ramapo school-record of 12.73 meters in a field of 51 competitors. She also placed first in the discus with an ECAC qualifying mark of 42.68 in a field of 47 competitors. Furman’s performance in the shot put currently ranks as the best NJAC mark in the event this season, and ranks as the third-best mark nationally in all of NCAA Division III, while performance in the discus currently leads the NJAC and ranks 26th in all of NCAA Division III.
