Furman earns NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season after competing at the NJAC Indoor Championships. She claimed the NJAC championship in the weight throw with a conference-record, a school-record, and an ECAC qualifying mark of 16.20 meters. She also garnered the NJAC title in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying toss of 12.18 meters. Her winning performance in the weight throw currently ranks 17th in NCAA Division III. The two event wins by Furman helped the Roadrunners place third overall in the nine-team NJAC indoor championship.
