Ramapo College of New Jersey Athletics

A two-time NJAC Field Athlete of the Week selection, Gamez earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after competing at the Ramapo College Indoor Select Meet at the New York Armory. He produced a new school-record and personal-best in the long jump with a mark of 6.90 meters, placing second in a field of 10 competitors. Gamez also placed tied for sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.88 meters. The performance by Gamez in the long jump currently ranks as the second best NJAC leap this season and the 12th best mark in the event in NCAA Division III.
