Appezzato becomes the third different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to East Stroudsburg, PA to compete at the ESU All-American Meet. She placed second in a field of 15 competitors in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying and school-record throw of 42.83 meters. The runner-up performance by Appezzato in the javelin competition currently ranks as the sixth best mark in the event in NCAA Division III this season.
