Rodgers earns the first NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week selection after traveling to Charlotte, NC to compete at the UNC-Charlotte 49er Classic. He placed second in a field of 31 competitors in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying throw of 60.27 meters. The performance by Rodgers in the javelin currently stands as the fifth best mark in the event in NCAA Division III this season.
