Rodgers becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at both the NYU Fastrack Challenge and the Princeton University Invitational. In New York, she claimed first place in a field of 15 competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 12.01 meters. She also placed second in a field of 23 competitors in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 5.72 meters. One day later at Princeton, she placed fourth in a field of 23 competitors in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 5.55 meters. She also notched a second place finish in a field of 11 competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 11.83 meters. The performances by Rodgers in New York in both the triple jump and the long jump currently rank as the third best leaps recorded in each event in NCAA Division III this season.
