Rodgers earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season after traveling to Troy, NY to compete at the ECAC Championships. He claimed the ECAC championship in the javelin by placing first in a field of 14 competitors with a school-record throw of 66.60 meters. The NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year, he will now travel to Claremont, CA to compete for the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Championship in the javelin event on May 26. The winning performance by Rodgers helped propel Ramapo to a third place finish in the 63-team ECAC Championship.
