Dowell earns the first NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week selection after traveling to Collegeville, PA to compete at the Ursinus College Invitational. He placed first in a field of seven competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 13.70 meters. He also placed first in field of seven competitors in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 6.38 meters. He also produced a third place finish in a field of eight competitors in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.75. Dowell’s winning leaps in the triple jump and the long jump currently rank fifth and 26th respectively overall in NCAA Division III.
