Rogers earns NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after traveling to New York City to compete in the New York Metropolitan Championships hosted by the New York Armory. She placed fifth in a field of 31 competitors in the long jump with a school-record and ECAC qualifying leap of 5.68 meters. She also finished 11th in a field of 32 competitors in the 60 meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.91. The performance by Rogers in the long jump currently ranks as the fourth best NCAA Division III mark recorded in the event during the 2011-12 indoor season, while her mark in the 60 meter dash currently stands as the 18th best Division III time in the nation.
