Patterson earns the first NJAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week selection after traveling to New Haven, CT to compete at the CTC Relay Carnival contested at Yale University. He placed first in a field of 13 competitors in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 6.76 meters. He also placed second in a field of 14 competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 13.85 meters. His efforts in both the long jump and triple jump events currently rank as the eighth best men’s NCAA Division III leap in each event recorded during the 2011-12 indoor season. The performances by Patterson helped Ramapo place second overall in the 14-team CTC Relay Carnival.
