Jones was named Rookie of the Week after competing in the 60-meter hurdles and 4x200-meter relay at Thursday’s Wagner Seahawk Shootout at Ocean Breeze. The freshman clocked 9.83 in the 60-meter hurdles in a field that included NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III competitors, posting the 10th-fastest time in the NJAC this season and 16th in the NCAA Metro Region. She also ran on the 4x200-meter ‘B’ relay team that finished in 1:50.98.
