Metz earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after recording a personal-best time of 25:12.7 in the 8K at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships. The freshman finished third for the Roadrunners and 40th overall while competing against a field of all NCAA Division I competitors at Branch Brook Park.
