Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the fifth consecutive week after competing at Ramapo’s own Roadrunner Express meet. He placed first in a field of 10 competitors in the pole vault with an NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 5.20 meters. The NCAA Division III National Champion in the indoor pole vault event, Van Leeuwen has recorded outdoor NCAA automatic qualifying marks in three consecutive weeks of competition.
