Jeff Jones is the NECVA Conference Rookie of the Week after averaging 3.79 points, 3.50 kills and hitting .337 in a challenging 2-2 week for the Roadrunners. In a 3-0 loss to #9 Baruch, Jones hit .563 with 10 kills and one error (10-1-16) on February 15. In a key 3-0 Metro Division win over Eastern Mennonite on February 17, he landed five kills. In a tri-match on Feb ruary 19, the 6-foot-0 rookie planted 22 kills (22-10-41, .293) in a 3-2 loss to #8 Rivier, before hitting .500 with 12 kills (12-2-20), five digs and two aces in a sweep of Lesley. He tallied 49 kills and 14 digs in 14 sets during the week.
