Hassan earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 24.5 points and 3.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week of play for the Roadrunners. He opened the week by notching 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range, while adding six steals and two assists in an 85-56 non-conference road win at New York City Tech. Three days later, he tallied 21 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal in Ramapo’s second NJAC win of the season, a 68-64 victory over Richard Stockton. Hassan, who was a perfect 8-for-8 from the foul line in the two wins combined, currently ranks second in the NJAC in both scoring (21.0 points per game) and steals (3.1 per game).
