Spurr earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season after hitting .500 (12-for-24) with two doubles, a home run, eight RBI, and seven runs scored in five contests played for the Roadrunners. He hit safely and drove in a run in all five games, and produced four multiple-hit contests,including a 3-for-5 performance with a double, a RBI, and a run scored in a 15-14 NJAC win over Rutgers-Newark. One day later, he went a combined 4-for-11 with a double, four RBI, and two runs scored in Ramapo’s 10-4 and 16-7 NJAC road sweep at Richard Stockton. Spurr currently ranks second in the NJAC in hitting with a .444 batting average.
