Zilg earns NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up a save and a victory in back-to-back outings for the Roadrunners. He opened the week by securing the final out of the game for his second career save in Ramapo’s 15-14 NJAC victory over Rutgers-Newark. One day later, he surrendered just six hits and one earned run in 7.1 innings of work while striking out eight for the second victory of his collegiate career, a 10-4 NJAC win at Richard Stockton. Zilg currently leads the NJAC in earned run average (1.05).
