Spurr earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after hitting .434 (10-for-23) with two doubles, eight RBI, and eight runs scored during seven games played for the Roadrunners in Florida. He hit safely in 6-of-7 games and produced three multiple-hit contests, including a 2-for-4 performance with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 17-2 win over Fitchburg State. Two days later, he went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in a 13-1 victory over Albright. Spurr currently ranks sixth in
the NJAC in hitting with a .462 batting average.
