Peterkin earns NJAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors after averaging a double-double 27.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game during three contests for the Roadrunners. He opened conference play with a double-double 14 points and 12 rebounds, along with three blocks in a 61-58 NJAC loss to William Paterson. Three nights later in the opening round of the Salisbury Tournament, he tallied 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field, along with eight rebounds and four assists in an
87-78 defeat to Hampden-Sydney. He wrapped up the tournament with a double-double 41 points and 13 rebounds, along with four blocks and three assists in Ramapo’s 129-117 double-overtime consolation game win over Methodist. The 41-point effort was the highest single-game scoring total by a NJAC player since the 2006-07 season. Peterkin, who shot .690 from the field in the three games combined, including 17-of-22 in the win over Methodist, currently leads the NJAC in both scoring (19.0 points per game) and rebounding (9.4 per game).
