Almirante earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after posting a 2-1 record in singles play and a 3-0 record in doubles during a 2-1 week for the Roadrunners. She first posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth single and teamed with Nicole Lapsley for an 8-2 win at third doubles in Ramapo’s 8-1 NJAC victory over Kean. One day later, she teamed with Nicole Pitts for an 8-2 win at third doubles in the Roadrunners’ 7-2 non-conference defeat to Stevens. She wrapped up her fall season with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth singles while teaming with Erin Gerhard for an 8-1 win at third doubles in Ramapo’s 5-4 NJAC win over Richard Stockton which marked the Roadrunners’ first victory over the Ospreys since 2001. Almirante posted a 10-3 record in singles play during the fall season.
