Van Leeuwen earns his fifth NJAC Outdoor weekly honor after traveling to Springfield, MA to compete at the ECAC Championships hosted by Springfield College. He placed first in a field of 19 competitors and claimed the ECAC Championship in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional and ECAC championship record of 4.97 meters. Van Leeuwen will travel to Marietta, OH to compete in the NCAA National Outdoor Championships on May 21-23. His performance in Springfield helped propel the Roadrunners to a 14th place finish in the 56-team ECAC Championship.
