Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the third consecutive week after being named the Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the 2009 NJAC Championships contested at Rowan. He placed first in a field of 11 competitors in the pole vault with a conference-record and NCAA provisional mark of 4.80 meters. He also competed as a member of the Roadrunners’ fifth place 4x100 meter relay which posted an ECAC qualifying time of 43.95 Van Leeuwen’s performances helped propel Ramapo to a third place finish in the nine-team NJAC Championship.
