Mahwah, NJ:  The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced the 2009-2010 All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for the squad, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior who has competed in a conference-sponsored sport while achieving a minimum grade point average of 3.20. First and second-team selections were made by the individual institutions.

Jywel Almirante (Newton, NJ) a member of the women's tennis team and majoring in nursing, and currently holds a 3.96 GPA and Ken Walsh (Point Pleasant, NJ) a member of the men's cross country and track and field teams is majoring in information systems and holds a 3.93 GPA have been named to the NJAC All-Academic First Team.

Rebecca Penhaker (Wantage, NJ) a member of the field hockey team and majoring in communications, currently holds a 3.92 GPA and Johnny Olsson (Stockholm, Sweden) a member of the men's swim team and majoring in international business currently holds a 3.92 GPA have been named to the NJAC All-Academic Second Team.

The remaining 48 student-athletes were named to the NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention Team.
