Springfield, Mass: The Lady Roadrunners, led by
Alexandra Jacob (Ridgefield Park, NJ) placed 16th overall out of 48 teams at the 2010 ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Jacob placed 3rd overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.66, which is a personal best and .36 off NCAA Provisional qualifying time. Jacob, along with
Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ),
Katie Walsh (Point Pleasant, NJ), and
Kristen Klemic (Somers Point, NJ) joined forces in the 4x400 meter relay, placing 4th overall crossing the finish line in 3:57.50, a school record at Ramapo.
Burke placed 5th in the 100-meter hurdles and 12th in the 400-meter hurdles clocking in at 15.40 and 1:05.19 respectively. Her time in the 400-meter hurdles marked a second school record for the Lady Roadrunners on the day.
Rounding out the top performers for the Roadrunners were
Teresa Kirkpatrick (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) and
Michelle Favre (Saddle Brook, NJ) who placed 6th in the javelin and 8th in the pole vault respectively. Kirkpatrick marked 38.33 meters (125'09") while Favre hit 3.40 meters (11'1.75") in her event.
