Mahwah, NJ: Senior Tiffany Fischer was recently honored as the Ramapo College Woman of the Year at the 20th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day luncheon at Seton Hall University.

The New Jersey Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women presented its “Woman of the Year” awards to one outstanding athlete from each college and university in the state, with the award being based upon athletic excellence academic success and community service.

Fischer is a standout on the women's volleyball and softball teams where she serves as captain for both squads. During her senior season on the volleyball court she became the all-time career assists leader with 3,478 assists, the first woman to eclipse 3,000 career assists.
