Nancy Remias came to Ramapo College in the Fall of 1992 from Lyndhurst High School where she was a member of the basketball, cheerleading, and softball teams. She was a four-year starter for the varsity softball team earning All-League, All-County, All-Area, and All-State honors.
At Ramapo, Nancy continued her success as a catcher for the Roadrunners. As a freshman, she was named 1st Team NJAC All-Conference and 1st Team WIAC All-Conference. During her tenure, Nancy remained 1st Team All-Conference for both NJAC and WIAC. As a junior, she shared Most Valuable Player honors with her roommate and battery mate Denna Brennan and was named co-captain her junior and senior year. During her final season as a Roadrunner, Nancy was named Ramapo College Woman Athlete of the Year and was a NCAA Division III Atlantic Region All-American.
Nancy is listed on the All-Time Records List for Most Triples in a Season (1st-5), Highest Batting Average in a Season (3rd-.450), Most Home Runs in a Season (6th-4), Most Runs in a Season (7th-36), Most RBI in a Season (10th-30 & 12th-28), and Most Hits in a Season (12th-49).
Currently Nancy is co-owner and CFO of a flooring company in Manhattan. In addition to meeting two of her dearest friends (Deena Brennan and Stacey Weeks) at Ramapo, she was lucky enough to meet her husband of nine years, Andrew Remias, who was a member of the baseball and soccer teams. Nancy and Andy now reside in Rutherford, NJ with their two sons, Andrew (2), and Matthew (1).
